I recently had the most magical Christmas week at a beautiful north woods resort. With no cell service or internet in the cozy cabins, I was able to truly disconnect and reconnect with nature and my loved ones. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making sure our every need was met. The highlight of our trip was exploring the snowy trails on fat tire bikes, creating unforgettable memories with my family. And let's not forget the delicious meals served in the dining room next to a roaring fire, with breathtaking views of the lake. I highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for a special and unforgettable vacation.

I stayed at this wonderful lodge for a few days and had a fantastic time. The craft classes were excellent, horseback riding was outstanding, and there were tons of great hikes. I also enjoyed the easy fishing and the informative nature center. The restaurant/bar was good, and the layout of the lodge offered wonderful views everywhere. The history of this conveniently located resort adds to its charm. The classic cabin I stayed in was clean and well-maintained, with a large bedroom/bathroom area. The absence of cable or WiFi was actually a blessing, allowing me to enjoy the quiet and listen to the storm at night.
I do recommend this hotel.

The location of the hotel was conveniently located off the Gunflint Trail, allowing for easy access to outdoor activities such as hiking and kayaking. The cabins were cozy and well-maintained, with amenities such as wood fireplaces and DVD players. Additionally, the restaurant offered delicious dishes like the walleye chowder and had a variety of beverages including the popular Voyageur beer on tap.
Some of the staff members seemed tense and there was a lack of clear communication regarding certain issues, such as the presence of dogs on the premises.
